We would like to offer our congratulations to Faye, following her successful completion of the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) examinations. The CTA qualification is the highest level tax qualification in the UK, and is considered the gold standard for tax professionals. CTA’s are an elite group, and few accountancy firms have staff with this level of expertise. Faye now joins our specialist tax team of financial experts, specifically trained in tax law. Our CTA’s use their in-depth knowledge of tax legislation to ensure you pay taxes in the most efficient way, and benefit from all tax advantages and exemptions available. Stephen has worked closely with the two current Directors, Neil Mullen and Gary Stoker, since 1998. Stephen is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with a wealth of experience and knowledge.
We are pleased to inform you that as of 1st February 2012 Mullen Stoker incorporated to become Mullen Stoker Limited. We continue to be regulated by the institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. The former Partners of Mullen Stoker, Neil Mullen and Gary Stoker, are both Directors of the newly incorporated entity and our high standards and level of commitment will continue. FREE MOBILE TAX APPS – 8 Nov 2011 Mullen Stoker have become the first North East Accountants to produce a mobile phone app. The App is free and provides users with important UK Tax rate information as well as key dates and deadlines, for both the current and previous tax years. There is also an additional area providing tax tips and ideas on how to reduce your bill. The app is easy to use and written in a language that is easy to understand. The app is currently available for iphone, ipod and ipad and there will soon be a free upgrade which will add calculators. The App for the Blackberry and Android will be available by the end of November and December respectively. Stephen makes Chartered Tax Advisor status. (6th August 2010)
| We are pleased to announce that our Stephen Green is now a Chartered Tax Advisor. Stephen passed his final exam this summer and joins a highly respected Institute of Chartered Tax Advisors.
Stephen said “I’m absolutely delighted to join the institute. My main aim now is to put my knowledge to good use and ensure our clients benefit too by making sure they pay the minimum amount of tax legitimately possible.” Gary Stoker, Partner, said “We are over the moon.
